Repetition 2/20

One thing that I have noticed that not just repeats in a chapter, but in the novel so far, is how the direwolves are always at their master's feet.  Whether it be John with Ghost or Bran with summer or any of the other children, their wolf is always by their side.  The direwolf to most others is looked at as an evil, mean being but for the Stark kid's its like the wolves were meant for them.  The wolves bring them warmth when they are cold, comfort when they are down, and they are always there for protection.  The direwolves are significant in the protection of the Stark children.  If any of them encounter the least bit of danger they will be protected.  I also think that it is repeated that the wolves are always at the heals of the master that it shows loyalty.  The Stark family is a loyal family and the direwolves also show that and fit in in that way.  I think they will play a bigger part later on in the novel also.  Bran and Catelyn have already been saved by summer and Arya saved from Joffery by their wolves.  Ned Stark thought about how Jon said that the wolves were meant for them and he felt terrible about killing Lady.  I can't help but think something bigger is going to happen and the wolves will be there every step of the way to make sure no one of the Starks gets killed.
