This section seems to feature Dany more so than any other one character in the chapters that we read. It starts with her looking over the Dothraki Sea and there appears to be a change within her. She takes up the role of queen which is rightfully hers by birth however she takes it up under a different circumstance than she had anticipated. Her new rise to power is foreign to her brother who has been used to being in charge and holding power over her. However we can see that shift when he attempts to attack her as usual and is stopped by the dothraki who mean to protect her at any lengths even killing her brother. It is as the story continues that we continue to see her getting more comfortable with her role. Even being happy for her first child which royally upsets the King. Going back to the idea of royalty we see a different side of Robert, well the same side but new for Ned. The King has such a big hatred for the Targaryens that he is willing to kill Dany even though she is still considered a child. I wondered when he said he would do this whether that had not been the plan all along. To have Dany marry Khal Drogo, which would provoke the King to assassinate her. Ultimately without provocation it seems unlikely that the Dothraki will march on the free cities. If they attempted to murder Dany though it would make it all the more likely that the Khal would call for war on those who tried to kill his wife.
