GoT 3

A character I think has really developed is Jon.  When he first joined the Night's Watch Jon thought he was better than everyone else.  In reality Jon was a bastard and equal to them, he just got lucky enough that be able to be raised in a family of high power.  Jon thought everyone else believed he was better than them, but then he took a step back and realized he was the problem.  Jon changed and decided to put his skills to use to help the others become better at sword fighting.  He made friends at the Night's Watch and learned that these boys' were his family now.  Another thing that impressed me about him is when the fat kid came to the Night's Watch.  Jon stood up for him and protected him making sure he would not get hurt.  He even sat and listened to the boys problems about his father.  Eventually the fat one warmed up to everyone else as well and they all became friends.  That shows a lot of character on Jon's part.  He will have a big impact in the Night's Watch.  Another interesting character is Ned.  He is a great friend to Robert and only wants what is best for the Seven Kingdoms.  I'm interested to see if he finds out why Jon Arryn was killed and what is going to come of that.  I was surprised to find that Robert doesn't trust his wife or son.  I feel a little bit bad because there is almost nothing he can do, the Lannisters are everywhere and control a lot.  The Lannisters are not nice people and I can't wait to see if they get taken down.
Robert doesn't have desire to be King much longer, who do you think will take over when he's done? Could it be his bastard?
