Game of Thrones Reading 2

In this section of readings we found out that Jon Snow went to the Night's Watch and help protect The Wall. We have found out that someone has tried to kill Bran when he was injured and Catelyn thinks she knows who is it but she just needs to prove it now. The direwolfes are huge in this section of reading, Bran's wolf saves him Arya's wolf hurts Prince Joffery. Lastly, Cateylyn goes to the King's Landings and find out that the dagger once belonged to the King and was stolen by Tyrion Lannister. My favorite character so far is Ned. I like him the most because he is trying to save his family and his kingdom. He always has the right things to say and seems really cool. The character I hate the most is Prince Joffery, I don't like him because he is a wimp and can't stand up for himself he has to lie to his dad and Ned. Prince Joffery has no honor and shouldn't be a prince in my opinion. The major theme of this section is the different power each kingdom and who holds the most power. So far it looks like the Lannister's have most of the power but I think it will quickly change to the Stark's. We see the differce in powers when Arya is trying to explain her side of the story of what happened between her and Prince Joffery. The king believed his own son and therefore had more of the power. But, at the end of the section we see Ned talk to his daughter, Arya about families and how families need to be strong and stick together during the toughest parts of lifeThe power will be soon on the Stark's side.  Another big theme is the coming of winter, Ned talks about this a lot and so does Catylyn.

What does the coming of winter actually mean to the Stark household?
What did the crow represent in Bran's chapter?
