In the following chapter things
really start to pick up and tension between characters all over the book start
to develop. Dany is starting to show more comfort with her new husband and she
also starts taking charge. This could complicate things because in the past her
brother is very controlling and abusive but now Dany has power over him since
her husband controls the army. On the wall Jon characters starts to change as
well. When he first joined the wall he felt superior to everyone but now he is
developing as a leader, showing the trainees how to handle a sword and he takes
care of Sam, a fat boy who is very cowardly and the exact opposite of what a
man on the wall should look like. With
Jon viewing the wall as a serious dedication and commitment and Sam viewing it
as a burden and something he is very much afraid of their friendship should
cause for an interesting development. Catelyn arresting Tyrion was also a huge
development. Before Tyrion was arrested there already some tension after the
queen ordered Ned to kill one of the direwolfs and the queen also made it clear
that she didn’t want Ned learning something or have the power that being the
Hand comes with (as revealed in Brans earlier chapter) Quensions I would bring
up are: Do we thing Tyrion is actually guilty in the plot to kill Bran or is he
being blamed for it? Also what consequences throughout the kingdom could happen
as retaliation by the Lanistars for Tyrion being taken?
