In the section we read it starts off with Daenerys adapting to the lifestyle of her husband and starts to act like an important character. Her brother Viserys attacks Daenerys but her body guards protect her and she stands up for herself. She finally realizes that her brother is weak and will never be the kind. At the end of the chapter we find out she is pregnant. Then we go to Jon where he is at the wall and teaching everyone how to fight. There is a new person at the wall, his name is Sam and he is a coward. Sam and Jon talk about their childhood and how rough it is. Ned the Hand of the King doesn't really like the job at this moment because it is during this huge tournament and he knows something bad will happen. Ned is still trying to find out what exactly happened with Jon Arryn. He finds out that Jon was trying to figure out about the Seven Kingdoms but he doesn't know why he would read about that. Ned finds out he as another bastard son. Cateyln arrested Tyrion which is a huge deal in the book right now. Ned finally figures out from Varys that Jon was poisoned because he was asking too many questions. finally, we found out the Tyrion is saying that he didn't try to kill Bran and Tyrion tells Catelyn that Petyr is a liar and that Tryion won't bet against his family.
Questions: Is Sam an important character? Did Tyrion kill Bran or was he set up? What will happen with Ned and asking too many questions?
