I chose Jon the
bastards chapter on page 49 because i think that it gave us our first look into
Jon’s character and really showed us how much older than he was for his age
like when he saw through Ned Starks fake smile and enjoyment at the feast. But
it also showed us that he still acted as immature as he was young from his
conversation with Benjan Stark and him storming out of the castle. I also take
interest in this chapter because i think it showed us the type of erson the
Tyrionne Lannister is and how smart he can be. I noticed three words that were
repeated alot in this chapter and they were king, dwarf, and bastard. Dwarf and
bastard i do not see much significance from because of the characters in the
chapter, although i do think that they are purposely used to connect Tyrionne
and Jon. When i was thinking over whether or not the repetition of king had any
meaning i came to the conclusion that when it is being used it may be to show
that there will be a changing of the crown and it going to someone else. Especially
when Jon says "this is not what a king should look like", and "All
i see is a red faced man sweating through his silks".
