I chose Bran's chapter on page 160 when he is having the crow dream. Fly
and fall are repeated often and they also are binaries of each other. The crow
tells Bran that he is falling, Bran must decide to fly and live, or fall and
die. He keeps repeating how he can’t fly, based on common sense and the literal
term of “flying, but the crow insists he can. The crow also tells him winter is
coming, this foreshadows that there is going to be something important
happening during winter. Although Bran isn’t sure what it is he can tell that
flying and falling does not only affect him. The citizens have the choice to
fly which would mean they could fight back whatever happens to them, or they
can fall. By choosing to fall they would willingly let their kingdom fall and
this could result in their death/end. The citizens have a choice like Bran
does, they can choose to save their lives or willingly let everything they have
die.
