GoT to 618

This section is particularly interesting in how Ned's decisions effect others. For one thing, in the game of thrones Eddard Stark loses. He is too honorable and too trusting of the council to see that he has very little support around him for a decision that may be unpopular but ultimately would have saved him from imprisonment. Confronting the queen though allowed for her to gain time to make her next move in this game of thrones. Cersei is smart and cunning and she lacks the honor that Ned has so when he threatens her to get her to leave it was never likely that she would abandon a kingdom that could potentially be under her control. I also worry about the maturity of Joffery in the section where Ned is taken by Littlefinger. Though it would be upsetting to lose the throne he acts much like Robert Arryn when it is said that he has little to no right to the Iron Throne. From their on it is as though there is a domino effect of the Lannisters going after the Stark children. The Arya situation was very poorly handled by those who would care very little about whether she lives or dies. Sansa seems to be the only one spared by Cersei who despite having taken Ned out of play would have her still marry Joffery, I can't think of why she does this other than to hold on to as many of the Starks as possible during Ned's imprisonment
