Part of me
was not surprised at all when Littlefinger turned out to be a traitor. I saw
that coming from the very beginning. The conversation they had when the king
was still barely alive all makes sense now. The chaos that happens from that point
forward is just mad. What also makes me mad is how Cersei can completely
manipulate Sansa into thinking her father is a traitor even though all he did
was give the letter from the king to Cersei. Because the queen wasn’t happy
with his decision, she told her men to arrest him.
Sansa also
makes me so mad. She is so blinded by her love for Joffrey that she doesn’t even
realize what she was doing was wrong when the queen told her to write the
letters to Cat and Robb. She wants to marry Joffrey so badly that she will do
anything to get back onto the queens side. Sansa, in my opinion, is almost as
bad as the lannisters.
Arya is a
complete and total badass. The way she overcame her fears and ran from the
gaurds to hide and then once she got to the stables and killed the stable boy
because he was going to turn her in. I loved that she admitted to forgetting
everything Syrio had taught her but the one thing she remembered came
from Jon.
I was
slightly disappointed that Jon was officially part of the Night’s Watch. I’m
not sure where he’s going to go from there / what influence he’s going to have.
I definitely think something will come out of him becoming a steward from
Maester Aemon.
