G of T 5

The tension is coming to a point now in this book. It seems as though it is everyone against the Lannisters. Which I am not exactly mad at seeing as how I hate the Lannisters, except for Tyrion. Tyrion I feel like just gets so much of the blame and he just takes it and schemes his way out of situations. You can’t not like Tyrion, he hasn’t done anything wrong and is very wise.
Catelyn is one of my favorite characters so I was amused when she took Tyrion captive and turned everyone against him. But her sister is insane, I could not take it. The little boy has no business leading anything—even if he wasn’t sick—he’s too young to be making any decisions let alone sentencing people to die.
Back at King’s Landing, the drama does not end. Sansa and Arya just cannot leave each other alone. Littlefinger is spot on when he semi-mocks Sansa about having this perfect idea of life when it’s much more dangerous. Especially since “winter is coming”. She still has this idea that her and Joffrey are in love and is unable to see beyond this set up at how dangerous the Lannisters are and the danger they bear to the Starks. Jaime is uncontrollable and kills people freely. It broke my heart when he came and fought Ned and his men. Jory died and that just made me hate Jaime even more. He deserves to be put on trial for his actions and taken down. I will be so upset if the Lannisters end up having even a bit of success. I also really hope Dany puts Viserys in his place once and for all. In my opinion he’s never going to be king again, I see her gaining power and taking things over. I’m a little confused at the set up of the Vale and Eyrie with the Sky and turnip basket. I’m having difficulty trying to separate all of these places.
