The book just keeps getting better and better to me. I'm left wanting to know more and not wanting to put it down. A character that I think we saw a different side of in this section is Cersi. We continuously see her has more of an evil woman, but in one chapter we get to see a softer side of her. I was surprised at this and I liked her for once in that scene, she was like a different person. She was kind to Ned at first and never denied anything. We got to see how things are with her and Jaime and why things are the way they are. I am a little bit confused though how Robert doesn't know that Joffery isn't his son, or how he doesn't know about any of the other children. I feel like he would have known about something like that. Another thing that took me by surprise was Robert getting wounded! I never saw that coming and it really complicates things. Makes me very curious to see how things turn out, and I wonder if Ned is going to listen to Littlefinger and take his advice at helping Joffery become a good king. Either way i think the Seven Kingdoms will be in trouble whether its Joffery who takes over or Roberts brother. Ned would be the best choice but I think we already know the Lannisters won't let that happen. I really just want to know whats going to happen next, and i still am curious to what will happen when winter is finally here.
Questions: Who is fit to take over if Robert dies? Will Cersi do anything now that Ned knows about her children?
