We start this section off by Bronn fighting Vardis Egen for the trail by combat. Bronn wins and that means Tyrion is set free and innocent. But, to make things worse for him Lysa wants them to take the High Road with no escort. That means they will probably will die by the mountain people. As they are taking the High Road they take a break and get caught up with the mountain people. The mountain people are about to kill them but Tyrion the sneaky one says don't kill them because he promises he will give them the Vale of Arryn if they follow him into battle. Jon helps Sam get inducted into the Knight's Watch because he doesn't want Sam to be picked on and then die. When Robert is away, Ned gets to play the role of the king for once and he relaies how hard it is. The choice he makes is sending out warriors to hunt down Clegane. Ned sends Sansa and Arya back to Winterfell to be safe and not to hear them fight each other all the time. Finally, we figure out the big secret that Ned has always wanted to find out. We have found out the Cersei's kids are Jamie's not Robert's. INCEST!!!! Ned and Cersei talk about this whole thing and then she tries to seduce him. The last thing she says to him is "when you play the game of the thrones, you win or you die". This quote is huge in this part of the book. In Daenery's chapter we find out that she has to eat a horse to show that her son will be strong. They are having a feast and Viserys comes in drunk and starts a huge fight. He wants the crown so Khal melts all his gold and and pours it all over Viserys. Robert comes back from hunting and is about to die because the boar wounded him. He tells Ned that he will be the King and overseer of the Realm now. Lastly, we find out that Sam and Jon are graudated into the Knight's Watch and Jon isn't happy about his job being a steward but then learns he will take control of the Knight's Watch when his time comes.
Questions: Will Robert ever know that Joffery isn't his son? Will Ned stay as King or will he give it up?
