This reading was packed with all sorts of action. The first chapter was Robert dying and Joffery becoming king. Ned tries to show the will saying that it should not be Joffery, but Cercie rips it up. Petyr turns and kills Ned, and holds him captive. We also she Arya kill a stable boy, while Sansa is with Cercie, as she tries to manipulate Sansa. This continues to show the differences between the sisters and their personal strength. Jon is told about his father being taken and starts up a fight. This brings us back to where Jon's loyalty lies. It is interesting to see which side he takes in different situations. Bran didnt give us a whole lot besides some on Robb's growing power. Tyrion also meets up with his father and his father acts as he usually is, very distant, judgment and cold towards him.
My questions are what will happen with Jon at the Nights watch now that he is sworn in? Will he make shifts in who he is loyal with or who he trusts? What will be the responses to the issues with Ned? Will Arya continue to hold up being independent or will weakness finally shine through? What poor decisions will Sansa make because of her influences? I was reading through looking for things to apply to my paper, and I didn't really see anything to really apply. I know that previous chapters, like the bird with Bran, and the family animal applies.
I am curious to see how things continue on and who will end up attacking, or in power.
