In Tyrion’s
chapter, I was really glad someone stepped up and fought for him. I also liked
that everyone thought the knight was going to win and then Bronn ended up using
the knights armor against him by tiring him out and, in turn, winning. Jon was
especially kind by going to Maestor Aemon and requesting that Samwell be used
for something other than fighting or hunting. Jon is one of my favorite
characters and I really hope he doesn’t permanently join the Night’s Watch
because I feel like he has potential to be so much more.
I thought
Ned handled being in the King’s place very well. And I’m very happy about the
sentencing of Gregor Cleagane. I think he was crazy from the beginning, always
mad with anger and we saw that at the tourney when he completely acted out and
tried to kill his opponent after he lost.
Half of me
feels bad for Sansa, and half of me doesn’t at all. I feel sorry for her
because she loves the King’s Landing so much but she really is better off at
Winterfell. She is so rude to Arya, one of my favorite characters, so often
times I don’t take pity on her at all. Although Sansa is upset about Ned
telling her that she shouldn’t marry Joffery, later on in the future she will
realize that its in her best interest.
The meeting
Ned has with Cersei was so interesting to me. I was so relieved that she
admitted to everything and I was SO glad Ned told her to leave. But then of
course King Robert comes back injured and Ned didn’t have the heart to tell him
everything. I was so surprised to find out that he was dying and he told Ned
that he was in charge until Joffery was old enough to reign. I was a bit
confused as Littlefinger and Ned were talking. I didn’t know what they were
talking about at the end of the POV chapter.
Dany’s
chapter started off so strange. All of the ceremonies she had to go through
were so weird. Visery’s death was so painful to read. Although he deserved to
die, the way they killed him was so scary and horrible.
