GOT 6

Seeing how i have neglected to post in a while this seems like the perfect place to pick back up. the book is finally getting to the part i was talking about in the last discussion. The peak is here. The starks and the lannisters finally decided to take all of there talk and turn it into action. We get to the actually title of the book and they have a game of thrones where Eddard loses because he is too cocky. When Robert died, the turn of events after really make the book move forward. The fact that Rob leads a whole army and is still a teenager says a lot about the character development martin is taking us through. This is also shown through bran being a crippled and being left to lead a whole kingdom (the north) by himself. I think martin's conversation about young people in this book gets a twist in it when joffrey actually gets into power. Ruling the kingdom and only being 10 is a lot of responsibility and i personally don't like him. His weird fascination with death bothers me. Thats not normal for a little kid.Other big things that happen in this section are that we finally find out that the Others mentioned in the beginning of the book are real. John fights a revived one. Also khal drogo says he swears to cross the sea even tho him and his kind don't like water. It'll be interesting to see if he actually does. I honestly cant believe the book is almost over. I feel like there is so much more to talk about and figure out. How are Robb and Jofferey both going to have power over the kingdom. thats definitely going to end up bad. I'm excited to get to the end.
