Ned now must confess the treason he has "committed" if he has any shot of getting out of jail. Sansa has now completely fallen under the affection of Joffery and his mother. She is pleading for the safety of her father but I still feel like she would give up her father to be with Joffery. I really think that a big contrast between the two families comes out in this section because Ned doesn't want to admit to something he didn't do because it's honorable where the Lannisters are not honorable in the slightest and will do anything to keep the throne. Jon contemplates leaving the wall to help Robb lead his army. Danys stops a rape from happening but loses the respect of the Dothraki in doing so. Tyrion passes his father's "test" during the fighting between Stark and Lannister and lives. I feel that this section shows each character's own personal struggles.
