Game of thrones

Bronn and Vardis have a battle that Bronn wins which allows Tyrion to be freed from Catelyn. Tyrion and Bronn take the high road when they leave which leads them to have a run in with the mountain people. Dany has a feast during her rituals with the Dothraki and at the feast Khal Drogo kills Viserys. One of the biggest parts from this reading is when Ned finds out why Jon Aryn was killed and also finds out that all of Cersei's children actually are her brothers kids, not Roberts. Ned also in his chapter decides that the only way Sansa and Ayra can really be safe is by sending them back up to the north. Robert also gets hurt while hunting and tells Ned to take over until Joffrey is old enough. This is setting up for a lot of drama because Ned doesn't plan on being king and instead having Roberts brother be king. On the wall, Jon continues to take more initiative as he offers that Sam should be inducted due to the other ways that he can help the wall. Jon is also initiated into the Nights watch only it is disappointing for him because he gets assigned to be a servant for the Lord Commander. I was surprised about Jon being chosen for that position because he seemed to be coming around as a more mature person on the wall who has developed into a popular person there. It seems as if we are reaching the climax of the book setting us up for something big to happen soon because of Ned and all of this dangerous knowledge he keeps on collecting.
