GOT Final

To me this book has one of the best final endings. Dany walks through a fire and she is “reborn” with three dragons. We find out that Drogo is in a complete vegetable state and can’t really think or function. So, she kills Drogo to take him out of his misery. Also, we find out that her child died during the labor, which is sad because that child would be a huge badass. Dany is the true dragon in this story, I thought of that during the whole book that she would become the real dragon. The saddest part of the book is when we find out that Ned dies. This pissed me off because Sansa thought she could save him but she had to be a little bitch with loving Joffery and thinking he would save Ned. Sansa is fully over Joffery since he did not go with his word which made me very happy because she can do better. Robb is named King of the North by Catelyn’s dying father. Jon leaves the wall and it surprised me because they brought him back and he will stay with the Wall now because he knows that it is his true duty. I still wonder what ever happened to Benjen, to me it seems like he is dead but who knows. The thing that was the most interesting was just the whole novel and how it kept you wanting to keep reading and going through the whole book. I like those types of books that you can’t just put down, you have to keep on reading them. The conversations that jumped out at me the most were the conversations that Tyrion had with the many people he encountered. He always gave them advice to help them move forward in their life and seemed to make everyone feel better about them. It also made you think about yourself and what you could do better or at least that is how I saw it. The thing that grabbed my attention was all the chapters about Ned because Martin focuses on Ned the most and I loved the way Ned thought things out with honor. He never thought differently just honor and that is all that matter to him during his life. And even when he died, he did not give up his honor he did what was right to save his family. The most disturbing scene in this book was when Ned died because even though I knew he was going to die, it still sucked losing a great character like that. My favorite character would be Ned because he has to do with honor and respect and I liked him for that. He did what was right and even though he would verbally fight with Robert, he knew what was right from wrong. He was a true leader and king. Yes, I would recommend this book or series to a friend because it got me so interested in through everything that has happened. It goes through twists and turns and in the end you are happy how Martin ended this book.
