G of T

I truly enjoyed this book and I cannot decide if I will read the rest of the series or not. I would like to but they are just so long. I really want to start watching the show, so many people I know watch it and just love it. One thing that I just am so curious about is Arya, I mean does she ever make it home? The poor girl has been on her own for so long and is eating nasty things and catching pigeons. It’s insane to think about. There are so many loose strings that need to be tied up for me and I know it’s all in the other books so if I really want to know that bad I suppose I will have to read them. It was so weird to me how Rickon was already down in the crypts with his wolf when Bran and the rest of them and then it was so weird how they just knew that their father had died.
As much as I hate Sansa, I couldn’t help but feel bad for her in this situation. Granted, she got herself into the mess, but Joffrey is such a terrible person I just couldn’t help but have even more hate for him. I could barely believe it when he would have them hit her, hit her hard at that, enough to make her bleed. But she never showed him how much he hurt her, she always keep her cool and pulled herself together which I found respectful.
Something that surprised me was how much attachment I felt towards Dany I just began to feel so bad for her when everything started happening. First she lost her son and at the same time Drogo was gone too, she was left with nothing. She had so much potential with her family just beginning and it was so quick to all fall away. I sometimes questioned whether or not she was going insane, she began making such bold decisions and trying to change traditions. I still just am curious as to what happens with everyone else. I hope the Starks do end up being on their own in the North. And I hope bad thing happen to Jaime Lannister, kind of.
