GOT 619-715

In this section we get to see the development of Sansa's loyalty to her family as she pleads on her father's behalf, while Ned has to make some decisions on defending honor by stating that Joffrey is not the rightful heir or lying to the kingdom when Varys comes to visit. Catelyn is continuing to work on her sons behalf of the war, while Jon at the wall has been honored with a sword, an honor not usually given to a bastard. Jon is still struggling with where his loyalty should fall at this point so the sword comes as a shocker. We learn where Jon's head is and where his dreams lie back at Winterfell with his father. Dany is in midst of Khal Drogo dying and ends up spurring controversy among the Dothraki as she gives a position of caretaking to a maegi she ended up saving on the roads. Tyrion is still trying to be brave in front of his father by trying to control his army, and he is in his first battle which he survives on the front lines. He also runs into a prostitute he has much to talk about with. Catelyn watches her son go to battle, as he wins, she finally gets to see Jamie Lannister and help Robb make the decision to take him captive. Dany understands that Khal Drogo is getting worse and in fear of losing everything finds no peace with the other Dothraki as they fight over the kingdom. In fear of losing everything, she allows the maegi to perform black magic, something the Dothraki despise on Drogo.

After the climatic character characteristic shifts, we start to see a change in the characters altogether. Catelyn really hasn't stepped down from a kingly role, while Ned is willing to defy honor for his children's safety, Jon wants to accept his role as a bastard and yet wants honor just back at home when he originally wanted it at the wall. Dany is scared and making irrational decisions at the expense of possibly losing her power and authority in Vaes Dothrak.

Do you think Dany is beginning to start of new GOT in Vaes Dothrak? Is she more hungry for power than anyone else?
Did Ned essentially create the definition of "honor" for himself?
Do you believe Catelyn might turn into a Cersei as she continues to dabble in affairs of war?
