Final GOT

This last section of the Game of Thrones was very eventful and shocking, it created a wonderful cliffhanger for a second novel and made a lasting impact for all characters.
To begin with we see Dany finally take a major role as a leader among her new khalasar. As well as we see here taking a far more aggressive and angry stance showing far more power. She seems similar in some senses to Joffery however where he begins a bloody reign immediately she acts in response to being wronged while trying to honor her husband. She shows mercy towards her new slaves, freeing them and making them a part of her new khalasar. She does all of this and it makes you skeptical that she’s really just 13 years old. She leads though and with authority which is something that many people in the Game of Thrones lack the ability to do. The biggest twist comes at the very end as she emerges with newborn dragons. The last in existence. With the dragons she has gained power she hadn’t had otherwise and therefore she may yet be able to take the Iron Throne and I find myself rooting for her.
Tyrion is the other character that I always find myself rooting for. Despite his lacking height and lack of family appreciation he proves himself time and time again and finally finds himself a form of reward. He is sent by his father to be the Hand of the King, the position of Ned Stark. There is a vast difference between him and other Hand’s in the way that they operate. Ned and Jon both acted with honor, which was the death of them, they acted too honorably to save their own lives and were killed because they couldn’t do what was necessary to stay alive. Tyrion is far more capable of acting without honor and doing things behind the scenes in the interest of keeping himself alive. It will be interesting to see how he acts contrary to the formers, as well as how he protects himself because of his defiance in bringing Shae.
The beheading of Ned is  a major event, it is but a foreshadowing of things to come for he seems to think himself doing the right thing however he is only starting a war because of how valuable Ned was to them while alive. While alive they could prevent war, the moment he died Kings Landing and by extension King Joffery became far more vulnerable.
